The batch find-and-replace tool for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is now available through Apple — the same app Mac users have been downloading from our site, with one more way to get it.
We're happy to announce that Office Find Replace — the Mac edition of Global Office Find and Replace — is now available on the Mac App Store.
It's the same app: batch find and replace text, images, formatting, and metadata across hundreds of Word, Excel, and PowerPoint files in one operation. It runs natively on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs, requires macOS 10.15 (Catalina) or later, and doesn't need Microsoft Office installed.
If you want the best price, choose the direct download — it's a one-time license and costs less. If you prefer to keep purchases inside Apple's ecosystem, the App Store version is the exact same app with subscription billing.
Plenty of Mac users only install software from the App Store — company policy, personal preference, or simply convenience. Until now, they couldn't get Office Find Replace at all. Now they can, complete with a free trial to make sure it fits before paying anything.
Nothing changes for existing customers: direct-download licenses keep working exactly as before, and the direct download remains fully supported and up to date.
